Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of JevCha, the captcha solving API at jevcha.com, together with the dashboard, the SDKs and the browser extension. Using any of them means you accept what is written here.
1Your account
You need an account to use the API. One email address, one account. You are responsible for everything done with your key, so keep it out of client-side code, out of public repositories and out of screenshots.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not be barred from using the service under any law that applies to you. If you open an account for a company, you are confirming you may bind it.
2What the service is for
JevCha solves captchas so software can reach data that is already public. Testing your own flows, running automation against sites you operate, and collecting information any visitor could see are all in scope.
You keep whatever legal duties you already have. A solved captcha is not permission, and nothing here overrides a site owner's terms, a robots file, a court order or a law that applies to you.
3What it is not for
Do not use JevCha to:
- get into an account that is not yours, or past a login you were not given
- reach material behind a paywall you have not paid for
- collect personal data about people who have not agreed to it
- send spam, create fake accounts in bulk, or stuff a queue, a ballot or a drop
- commit fraud, launder money, or buy and resell goods against a seller's stated limits
- break a court order, a sanctions rule or an export control that binds you
- resell raw access to the endpoint as if it were your own service
4Price and payment
JevCha is priced per solve and drawn down from a balance you top up in advance. There is no subscription, no seat licence and no minimum spend. Rates differ by task type and are shown before you fund.
Rates can change. A change applies to solves made after it takes effect and never to a balance you already spent. If a price rise would leave you worse off, the Refund Policy says how to get the unused part back.
You pay any tax due where you are. Prices are shown before tax unless the checkout says otherwise.
5Refunds
A failed solve is never billed, and an unused balance is refundable for 12 months from the day you funded it. The rest of the refund terms are on their own page and form part of these terms. See the Refund Policy.
6Availability
We aim to keep the endpoint up, and we email the address on the account when a long interruption affects it. We do not promise a particular uptime figure, a particular solve rate or a particular latency unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
Maintenance, an upstream change at a captcha vendor, or an attack on our own infrastructure can all interrupt service. Where the interruption is ours and it is long, the Refund Policy covers what you are owed.
7Your data
We process the task payloads you send only to return a solve, and we keep them no longer than the retention window in the Privacy Policy.
You must not send us personal data you have no right to hold, and you must not send material that is illegal to possess. If you do, we will delete it and we may close the account.
8Suspension and closing an account
We can suspend or close an account that breaks clause 3, that runs up a chargeback, or that puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we can give notice first we will.
You can close your account at any time by writing to support@jevcha.com from the address on it. The Refund Policy says what happens to a balance still on it.
9Warranties
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that every captcha will be solved, that a solve will be accepted by the site you send it to, or that the service will fit a purpose you have in mind. Nothing in this clause removes a right you have that cannot be removed by contract.
10Liability
We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, or any loss that was not a likely result of the failure. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
That cap does not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to fraud, or to anything else a court will not let us limit.
11Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. The date at the top moves when we do. A change that materially reduces what you get is notified by email to the address on the account at least 30 days before it applies, and you can close the account and take the unused balance under the Refund Policy instead of accepting it.
