Refund Policy

1How billing works

You top up a balance. Each solve draws down from it at the rate for that task type. Nothing recurs, nothing auto-renews and no charge happens without you starting it.

A failed solve is not billed. If the endpoint returns an error, or returns no answer inside the timeout, the balance is not touched.

2Unused balance

An unused balance is refundable for 12 months from the day you funded it. Ask and we return the unspent part to the card or account you paid from. Clause 6 has the timings, and they are the only ones in this policy.

We do not refund the part you have already spent on solves that were returned to you, because that is the product working.

3When a solve is wrong

A captcha answer can be returned correctly and still be rejected by the site you send it to. That is not a failed solve on our side and it is not refunded on its own.

If the endpoint reports a solve as successful and the target site rejects it, send us the task ids. Where the fault is ours we credit those solves back to your balance, and we tell you when it is not.

4When we are down

If the endpoint is unavailable for more than 24 hours in a row and the cause is ours, you can ask for the whole remaining balance back in money rather than credit.

5If we close your account

Close your own account and the unspent balance comes back under clause 2. If we close it for a breach of clause 3 of the Terms, the balance is forfeit, because that is the only real cost of abusing a prepaid service.

6How to ask

Write to billing@jevcha.com from the email address on the account. Give the amount and the date you funded it. You do not need a reason for a clause 2 refund.

We reply inside 5 working days and pay inside 10 working days of agreeing the amount. The refund goes back the way it came in.

7Chargebacks

Ask us first. A chargeback raised without asking suspends the account while the bank works through it, and a bank can take three months. Every case in this policy is faster than that.
